My parents might have you beat. Assisted living. Quarantined every time they turn around, it seems. Awaiting test results because a worker tested positive at the facility. When you are in your 90s things happen.

I have some risk factors for Covid. And I can work from home.
I don't want to risk any of the possible long term complications from it. And I don't want a huge hospital bill from it.
So I sneak out to the grocery store once a week with a mask on early in the morning before the air can become contaminated much.
I've had two dates, picnics in the park, this entire year.
And other than my two college age kids coming and going every three weeks or so. I've turned into a hermit.
Last hair cut was in January. But it's Nashville, so lots of musicians around to give me cover.
And while Covid is treatable, our national protocols call for not treating it. At least until your in the hospital and need oxygen.
Two families at work now have it. And the transmission vector was their kids.
OK, you win the biggest sucker award.
Until I see them picking up bodies on the sidewalk every evening in a truck, I'm going out.
I'm still not quite sure what you mean. I'm an RN. Have been caring for covid patients since before we knew what it was. What, 11 months now? Exposed more times than I can count. Have spent hours at a time in close direct contact with symptomatic patients, some on bipap (think, aerosolization).
Never tested, never quarantined, never sick.
