My cash doc is a felon. LOL.. no he really is. He believes in herd immunity. I didn’t argue with him, cuz I just wanted muh drugs that my insurance doc won’t give me. Haha, my drug dealer is a felon. Anywhoo... when he said “herd immunity” I thought well that’s a crock.

Masks and isolation delays herd immunity.
What issue do you have with that concept? If 60-80+% of a target population has immunity (by whatever means) the remainder have a significantly lower probability of contracting a communicable disease. It’s how immunity progresses...

Son is microbiologist and that’s *all* he talks about when discussing covid - well that and how masks harbor bacteria and impede proper oxygen intake - and the importance of exposure to build immunity.

Once we achieve herd immunity, it will peter out on its own due to more people being immune than not. There are simply fewer vectors of transmission.
