Dominion CEO really spinning saying that Michigan certainly wouldn’t have enabled “rank choice voting” algorithm because they didn’t pay for the module. And, besides, if they had then it probably would have been logged ... if those pesky election officials hadn’t deleted all the logs.
Need some reasons for more popcorn this week.

So...it exists, right?
Know your Nautical terminology
Today's word was prompted by a question from Melian.
Avast
meaning “stop” or “hold still.” The word was originally derived from the Dutch phrase “houd vast,” which literally means “hold fast.” The frequent usage of this phrase eventually got it slurred down to “hou’ vast” and later “avast.” This became a common term among sea-folk around the late 17th century.
The time period of its adoption is significant. Between 1652 and 1674 the English fought 3 nasty naval wars with the Dutch, primarily over trade. The results were a draw, a disaster, and a flaming disaster for the English.
The long term result was the creation of the Royal Navy in its more effective form by Samuel Pepys. Pepys (PEEPS) had no naval background but was an administrator of the highest order.

So...who did pay for it?
SolarWinds?
The heathen Chinee?
Not enabling because you didn’t pay for it doesn’t mean that, if someone else paid for it, you couldn’t enable it.
We’ve been moving a huge data bade from one environment to another.
Just today, I learnt that the original install bundle had lots of add-ons that you had to turn on or off according to your preferences.
One of the options was “Install all add-ons.”
There was no extra cost for enabling the “all”, it was in the bundle.
I really despise it when some techy-elitist plays common sense people for fools.
