If that is the “reality”, then explain why all the other species that exhibit the exact same behaviors are not going extinct.

If you can’t come up with an explanation for that, then it’s obvious that there is a flaw in your interpretation.

Bush meat, habitat loss, etc.

The other dogs will die trying to free their pack mates from snares.

Fairly altruistic, for an animal.
