The 2nd Amendment is among those God given rights that can never ever be given to or taken away from the citizenry.The 2nd Amendment is not a God-given right nor are any of the other amendments. Rather, the 2nd Amendment is the protection from infringement by the federal government of the right to bear arms which is a necessary component of the God-given rights of life and liberty.
