Republican legislators have about 24 hours to appoint their own electors.

There’s no risk as Biden and his Democrats are sure to naturalize 30 million more Democratic voters who will vote the Republican legislators out of office in their next elections unless Biden is stopped within 24 hours.

Last thing in the world he's calling for is what the left is screeching is “secession.”

Not that there is anything wrong with calling for a secession of Texas from a totally corrupt, lawless USA.
After all, Texas used to be part of Mexico, then became the Republic of Texas then after some back and forth, became a state of the US.
Nothing is permanent in the history of this world.
You only got to look at the history of Europe. Countries have been formed, created and broken up over and over and over again, including the former Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia and for the former Soviet Union which have been totally broken up in just in the last 40 years alone.

“state can take unconstitutional actions “

So Texas needs to that. IGNORE how many electors the Constitution says we have and instead send 270, all for Trump. If other states sue at SCOTUS, “SORRY, NO STANDING”.

These places should basically be America for themselves. If the corrupt megapolitan areas want to confiscate firearms or cheat in elections or have no immigration laws whatsoever, let them do it on their own turf.

From rhe Texas annexation treary:

“ARTICLE II.
The citizens of Texas shall be incorporated into the Union of the United States, maintained and protected in the free enjoyment of their liberty and property and admitted, as soon as may be consistent with the principles of the federal constitution, to the enjoyment of all the rights, privileges and immunities of citizens of the United States.”

I think the annexation treaty allows Texans to fully enjoy hydrocarbon rights.

Based on my basic understanding of civics, if these Republican Legislators REFUSE to send ANY electors then no one would get the 270 and then House and Senate get to decide when there isn’t 270?

In this way, we know the House would get to decide the Presidency. I also believe that in the case of a “contested” election that each STATE only gets one vote and although the Dems have the Majority of Rep’s, the Republicans have the Majority of states - see excerpt from article below:

“A 269-269 Electoral College tie or other dispute that prevents the determination of a clear winner of the presidential election would result in a contingent election, in which it would be decided by the House of Representatives, while the vice presidential race is decided by the Senate, the 12th Amendment stipulates.

While each senator gets a vote for the vice president, the House vote is determined by state delegation rather than individual lawmaker—so each state, from Alaska’s one delegate to Texas’ 36 delegates, all only get one vote each.

Democrats have a majority in the House with individual lawmakers, but Republicans hold the majority of state delegations: 26 states have a GOP majority, 22 states have a Democratic majority, while there’s a tie in Pennsylvania and the Michigan delegation has seven Democrats, six Republicans and Independent Rep. Justin Amash.

The House vote would not be decided by the House as it currently exists, but by the lawmakers elected in November, as lawmakers will be sworn in on January 3 and Congress will convene to count electoral votes January 6.

Congress has only ever decided the presidential election in 1801, 1825 and 1877, and if the House cannot reach an agreement, the 12th Amendment says the vice president would serve as president until the issue is resolved”

“The hottest place in Hell is reserved for those who remain neutral in times of great moral conflict"
Martin Luther King

“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor”
Desmond Tutu

"A Republic if you can keep it."
Benjamin Franklin

We kept it for 244 years. It took that long for America to produce America's Worst Generation, stupid enough to throw away their priceless and fragile heritage. All the previous generations valued and preserved it: America's Great and Heroic Generations!

The seven Supreme Court justices who failed are appropriate representatives of America's Worst Generation.

Theirs was a responsibility comparable to that of the American boys who walked directly into machine gun fire on the beaches of Normandy in 1944 to save the United States and the world, their charge as great though far less courage or wisdom required.

They failed.

I think that a trustworthy republican in the house should introduce a bill of impeachment against, K, G and ACB for derelection of duty, in creating a constitutional crisis by ignoring Article VII [The Ratification of the Conventions of nine States, shall be sufficient for the Establishment of this Constitution between the States so ratifying the Same.]; Article III section 2 [The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States...;] and [In all Cases a... in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction.]

The dems would convict because this would be a dream come true and the constitutional conservatives on principal. The only holdouts would be the in the tank for the CCP RINOs.

I remind folks of the little known Article VII of the constitution: The Ratification of the Conventions of nine States, shall be sufficient for the Establishment of this Constitution between the States so ratifying the Same.

It is a free and voluntary compact between the States. If the States wish to disolve the government so formed and form a new government under a renewal of the same compact that is a matter between the contracting parties. The SC already ruled that it has no interest in enforcing the bargain.

And I am in full agreement. Why would Texas want to associate with what is left of Amerika. There is no reason.

There was an article posted a couple of years ago where some “war gaming strategist” gamed out a modern day civil war. He tried to use realistic scenarios, based on a states people, resources, natural alliances, etc. Texas won big-time, conquering all the way out to Commifornia.

It will be difficult to draw geographic lines to establish Constitutional Americans from “the other”.

Why not?

The democrats hated Lincoln.
The democrats organized in a union.
The democrats fired the first shots, and were soundly whipped, in time.
The democrats shot Lincoln.

This time the democrats are dressed in black with shields, clubs, knives, and fireworks.

The red states have guns, and quite a few, and the intelligence to use them well.

Copy liberals’ Sanctuaries model. Second Amendment Sanctuaries (already exist), pro-life Sanctuaries (a few exist). Have Sanctuaries for the First Amendment. Decide as a city, county or state to reject immoral federal regulations on a given topic, and like Sanctuary cities and states for illegals, make it A CRIME to assist fascists in power enforcing those oppressive rules.
