U.S. Constitution - Article II
The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his Office during the Term of four Years, and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same Term, be elected, as follows:
Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, ....
It 'is' the President who should file the lawsuit, and claim that it was the President who was 'injured' from the fact that the 'rules' to appoint Electors were changed in such manner that was unconstitutional. This is a clear cut case. BUT, IT IS THE PRESIDENT who is the ONLY one that has STANDING to bring a case, since Article II pertains directly to his appointment.
If team trump really want to have a case heard, they need to have the ACLU, SPLC or Sierra Club file the suit. Those groups never seem to lack standing.
Because foreign entities were involved, this is a national security threat. Seems like military tribunals would be in order as this is treason. I wonder if the top brass in the military would tell also block evidence being presented.
Part of the problem may be the lack of influence the state legislatures have on the activities of their federal congressional delegations, now that members of the U.S. Senate are no longer appointed by them pursuant to the U.S. Constitution as written, but instead based on popular elections like members of the U.S. House of Representatives based on, what was it, the sixteenth amendment? If they retained this influence they could mount a concerted challenge to the formal Electoral College vote count that takes place during a joint session of Congress on January 6 every four years.
imo .... he HAD to go through various seemingly useless steps first.
NO ONE can accuse him of favoritism and and all the et cetera's that go along with THAT one.
Look at his own Supreme Court appointees.
I'm pretty sure (now), that was foreseen.
During his campaign in 2016, President Trump told his enemies, ( as well as his friendlies ), He would not let them know his battle strategy.
After all he did take an Oath to Protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies both Foreign and Domestic.

I am aware that states run their own elections. And I can accept that rules/laws may have to be changed in exceptional circumstances (which many people think Covid-19 is). But if they do so in a way that is open to fraud, then they have a duty to take precautions to prevent fraud. And apparently that wasn’t done. And if some people are adversely affected by that failure (even if they are in a different state), then they have a right to have action taken to correct that. But the courts are failing to do so. The politicians are failing to do so. The media is failing to do anything. All the people who have the power to do something, are failing to do so (or worse).
That is one determined mail carrier.
