Don’t they have this backwards?? I thought they just ruled that most of the mail-in ballots are not to be counted?
1. Only the individual voter can determine if they are eligible according to their personal situation (unable to appear in-person). COVID cannot be claimed as valid by the clerk (and subsequently mailing out a ballot based on that decision).
2. Yeah, but Trump has to individually adjudicate EACH challenged ballot cast in this manner.
Time constraints.
Trump filed an intervening motion.
Likely to get enough time to do this.
This filing would, I assume, ask for leave to combine the results on not depend on a separate filing for each ballot.

One of the arguments in Trump vs. Biden case (different than this one I believe?) was that Amistad followed up on social media to see if people who declared themselves indefinitely confined were posting pictures of themselves at Halloween parties and such indicating they are not indefinitely confined.
