I tried rattlesnake once. I’ll pass on the python.
We had roasted rattler in E&E classes back in the 80’s.
We just skinned them and cut it into 3-4 inch sections and roasted it on sticks.
You had to eat it like corn on the cob, rake the meat off the bones with your teeth, parallel to the “ribs.”
Yeah, it was like chicken.

Rattlesnake is OK. Tastes like a tough chicken. I just do not like the price/performance. It is a lot more expensive than chicken, but not as good.
Tried Cobra once. Too fishy.
Python seems enticing. Where could I get it?
