Don’t shoot the messenger, but I think SCOTUS will disappoint us. We got our hopes up without good reason.
First, the lawsuit is weak. I don’t want to go into the substance of it now, because I don’t want the whole world to know my critique.
Second, it looks like everybody and their brother is filing amicus briefs or joining in. Consequently, SCOTUS will now have to pore through thousands of pages of briefs and declarations, etc. This is getting out of hand. Before even considering the merits of the case, the justices can readily see that the flurry of amicus filings and joinders is political theatre.
I think the patriotic majority, the PDJT supporters, are being played by people who covet our commitment to PDJT and what he stands for. And they hope to derail our energy for their own political benefit.
If the deep state and RINOs truly wanted a PDJT second term, they would have enacted robust election security BEFORE the election. They would have challenged PA’s universal mail-in ballot law BEFORE the election. They would have investigated Dominion BEFORE the election.
“If the deep state and RINOs truly wanted a PDJT second term”
They don’t. And they won’t.
Who every thought they did? They hate Trump.
But the suit filed by AG Paxton is spot on. And there is strong support elsewhere.
Could be wrong, but I don’t see deep staters putting momentum behind the Texas lawsuit. Also, not at all surprising that the RINOs didn’t work for fair election rules before the election. They don’t want Trump to have a second term....
First, why is the lawsuit weak? Why did they not lead with their strongest claims? Second, why depend on the RINOs to fight for Trump? What kept Trump’s team from preemptively filing lawsuits or legal challenges sooner, since that is what you imply below should have been done?
This is the first Presidential election the RNC could contest election fraud in 35+ years. Which is insanity, but there it is. Republicans don’t know how to contest election fraud, as they weren’t allowed to. Those abilities atrophied.

Hey Newbie who joined FR just a couple days ago, you are wrong and are probably a troll.
The SCOTUS can focus very easily on the main argument. And that’s a great chance this case will be heard by SCOTUS.
