When I was a kid a had that giant fairy tales and disney stuff book with all the stories and pictures. Most of the stories creeped me out. I skipped Alice in Wonderland. Pictures were cool but the story sucked. I didn’t like most of the stories, except for there was one called the Ride of Paul Revere. I always liked that one. It was my go to. Never liked Mickey Mouse. Maybe it is the cat in me.

I had that Grim’s Fairy Tale book —Didn’t like it. Not sure I ever finished it.

I like Aesop’s Fables. I spent most of my early years on my grandparent’s farm. They were very devout Baptists. I had the Bible, and Books - Christian Books similar to Nancy Drew etc. Was allowed one Donald Duck Comic, Lincoln Logs, and Checkers.

No dice, card games, or other literature allowed.

I read like a house of fire when off the farm. Ha.

Nah. Cause mice eat crickets.

Now that's three for three on the dont like Alice poll. Interesting. Did any kids even like that dumb story? Or were we force fed it.
