“People who cannot be reasoned with can only be fought.” It’s an age-old truth, one good people ignore at their own peril. It too often is ignored, though, since good people are mostly reasonable and, in accordance with man’s nature, engage in projection. They thus assume that others are as reasonable as they are.
It’s reasonable to assume that mentioning right now the futility of reasoning with the Left is motivated by the election. It’s also, in my case, untrue. I’ve for decades recognized that devout leftists, emotion-driven and vice-ridden, operate by occultist Aleister Crowley’s “principle,” “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.” But now, with the Left stealing an election after have stolen our whole culture and increasingly achieving its ends through violence, more people may accept this message.
When presenting logical arguments to advance a position, which is what I as a commentator do, I’ve at times heard from readers who’d lament that it was a waste of time because leftists wouldn’t listen. What they misunderstood is that those arguments were never, ever intended for the Left.
What must be applied here is “political/cultural triage.” This paradigm’s first group is the “Choir”; while its members are on your side, it still is beneficial “preaching” to them to “fire up the troops”
The second group is the “Middlers”; not wholly blinded by ideology and being at least somewhat open-minded, they often can be reached with logos, ethos or pathos or a good combination thereof.
Then there’s the last group: the Initiated. Called “leftists” today, they have disordered thinking; married to misbegotten passions and, disconnected from reason and operating emotionally, they’re the sort that inspired the Jonathan Swift sentiment (I’m paraphrasing), “You cannot reason a man out of a position he has not reasoned himself into.”

You can’t reason with a crazy person. Especially one who thinks that they own you.
My experience with the left is that talking makes them think that I am somehow in agreement with their values and they see it as a reason to impose on me.
Other than beating them to a pulp, how do you get them to understand that I don’t agree with them?

You solve it by applying the first part of the answer to your question to the second part.
I don't argue with them. I don't speak to them. I don't listen to them. I don't acknowledge their existence. Simply stated, I cut every single one of them out of my life. A few were dear friends for a very long time (20+ years.)
Any time I find myself in the same place/room/situation with them, I simply turn my back and refuse to acknowledge them. I really don't give a damn' if they know why I refuse to acknowledge them or not. If they're truly that damn' stupid I really don't want them in my life.
And we don't even know who "it" is. That's what you call a smart--very smart--enemy.
As I have said for years here on FR, I distinguish between Leftists and Liberals.
Liberals can often be talked to, most of them are just out of touch, depending on emotion, and either are being mal-informed or simply don’t have the time to educate themselves. I can and do occasionally talk to these people, and get a response like “You sound like you have thought it out...”
Bottom line, not all Liberals are lost.
Leftists cannot be talked to, they must be ridiculed and discounted where possible, and fought like deadly enemies wherever force can be brought to bear on them.
Barring a personal trauma (such as what happened to David Horowitz) there is no hope for them.
You say that like it is bad thing. Lets split the USA into USA and the USSA.
IMHO, the tipping point was when the leftists acquired the power to control people's thoughts (Don't say Merry Christmas, Thomas Jefferson was racist and should be shunned, do NOT share thoughts about election fraud, don't believe your lying eyes, etc, etc, etc). What is saddest is that the left has used 12.7% of our population to cannibalize all of the population.

I tend to agree. We have irreconcilable differences which has limited resolutions.....a split...or war.
It is an important distinction. And I think it pays to remember that our opponents did the same back in the 1960s. The Student Left did not like Liberals. People like LBJ, Hubert Humphrey and other "nice" Liberals were their enemy. The Liberals supported American values and tried to work within the system. The Left wanted nothing to do with that. The Left wanted to burn everything down. They still do.
My feeling is that there are still some Liberals out there today -- but their numbers have dwindled. We are surrounded by dangerous Leftists and I won't talk with Leftists. If I actually encounter a Liberal, I would consider having a conversation.
It will soon be time to join forces with police and bring all these people to justice ourselves. There will be no quarter and there will be gallows built. The time has come for the real Patriots to rise up and defend our country against foreign and domestics terrorist’s. If we don’t stand up now ,our country will be lost and the whole world will suffer because of it.
“It” is the same people who’ve done this forever: People with money that confers power.
The hard Left has engineered this split in the country. It took a lot of planning, indoctrination/brainwashing, media control, and management...but they did it.

Soros is number one on the list, his son is number two, millions of syncophants in the US and Europe are three, the UN is four and China is 5 and probably equal with Soros...same ideals just differing amounts of goolash to stick it together with. Then course there are the emoters...not a logical stick or idea in their heads, all emotion...many of our teachers are in this group and they have done a fine job of alientating our kids from us...I just didn’t see it soon enough.
We must not let these people get control over our country and we must fight if they persist in what they are currently doing.
As Rush Limbaugh said yesterday, there is no common ground with these people and the only answer is succession. We cannot live with them - especially under the Communist ideals they promote.
I hope they find out the hard way what Communism really means - but I don't any part of it for my loved ones and don't want to be taken down with them. Mr. Duke is correct when he says:

What happened to David Horowitz?
Progressives/leftists are adult children, an adult body housing the mind of an adolescent, stuck at thirteen years old.
Intellectually stunted people are attracted to progressivism, because it’s high on emotion and lecturing grown/ups, and low on logic and effort.
He was a dedicated Leftist lawyer for the Black Panthers back in the Sixties and early Seventies IIRC, and they had a woman working with them managing their books. She apparently saw things in the books that were not kosher, and brought it to someone’s attention who didn’t like the attention (likely corruption, money going places it shouldn’t, such as to buy a new Cadillac or a trip to strip bars or Hawaii) so...
She was simply murdered. They murdered her because it was her job to look at the books (what they hired her for) so she looked at them and they felt threatened.
He knew they murdered her. It was no secret. He was close to her, and it affected him deeply. No doubt, he saw that if HE was privy to something they didn’t like, they would simply murder him as well.
