There are just certain things you can do but shouldn’t. This looks like one of those times.
I have see some videos of things like full auto Glocks. For those that like to shoot “spray and pray” or suppression fire it’s probably okay. If you actually want to hit something, that’s a different story. Maybe a guy like Jerry Miculek could handle it, but us mere mortals would not be able to.

My indoor range has a G18 for rent. They had a Valentine's Day special...dinner and full auto shoot. My wife and I split a 50 round box of 9mm...25 each. We both handled it fine. All my rounds were on target. What was surprising was the muzzle climbs up and right (due to rifling). An interesting experience. Good to do as a rental. I wouldn't own one. Too expensive to run and not of practical value to me on a daily basis.

Suppression fire is a valid tactic at times.
A source in Marine counter-intell told me a variation of the bump fire technique for semi auto pistols (such as the 1911A1) was taught as a way to break contract with superior pursuing forces.
He said he used it once to good effect in Central America...
