I once had a wild Santa on a flight from LA to Denver. He was a real live mall Santa and had an agent and a model comp card and everything. (He autographed it for me.) Super nice man and definitely the biggest celebrity I ever encountered in my flying career. This was a few days after Christmas and kids were all approaching him with so many questions and he had an answer prepared for every one of them.
The only celebrity I flew who had equivalent amounts of patience was Magic Johnson. Because grown men acted just like those little kids around him.

A friend of mine has a long white beard. One day he was in a store just before Christmas. Some kid was in the grocery cart acting up and he could see the kids mom was exasperated.
He walked up and said “I see you” and the kid got all wide eyed and straightened right up.

I did the same thing in Ray Nd.
I have gray hair.
Beard to match.
I’m getting coffee and I hear a voice asking me if I m Santa.
It was on my mind to be snarky till I saw the beautiful eyes of a small girl.
I knelt down and said: no I’m not Santa but he is out there.
She smiled and went back to her mother.
It totally made my day
