December's Ratings Collapse for Fox News continues to be disastrous.
Going from record ratings during Election week, to massive ratings collapse by Thursday December 3rd.
Here are the current Fox ratings losses according to Nielsen.
McCallum -72%
Cavuto -65%
Hammer -65%
Baier -63%
Perino -62%
Sandra -61%
Fox/Friend -57%
Outnumbered -57%
Ingraham -49%
The Five -48%
Carlson -41%
Hannity -40%

I know. That shift has been VERY odd.
Wallace only has his own show on Sunday and these are Thursday ratings.
I will show Chris Wallace ratings tomorrow or Wed.
I know his Sunday repeat on Fox News is down 50% or so.
But I think his last place Sunday show on regular Fox stations are only down a little bit.
This article says that Fox was complicit in a “psychological warfare operation” to brainwash Americans into believing that Biden had won the election.
Apparently, “they” think we don’t make our own decisions based on our ideology and principles. They actually believed that if Fox told us something we would just fall for it? I’ll bet they were surprised that within one day’s time, WE dropped FOX like a hot brick. It was supposed to be the other way around.
All cable news ratings jumped in Sept/Oct because of the election. Then the election ended, and things went back to normal. That isn’t collapse, that is reversion to the mean. Just like when the ESPN ratings drop the day after the SuperBowl, people don’t say the ratings collapsed, they say they went back to normal.
Why would the Fox News Board Of Directors embark on a course which is sure suicide? I guess you can attribute it to Sex. By that I mean Murdoch’s sons have been brain washed by their Liberal wives. If the Old Man doesn’t step back into the picture and get the “Ship back on course” Fox News will be Dead.
A 20%-25% drop is normal. A 50% drop is not.
Tucker’s ratings were on a year long, upward trajectory which added nearly 2 million nightly viewers to his time slot. But yeah, stay with a 3% loss estimate, however inaccurate.
Old man Murdoch never supported Trump or his agenda, he supports war, open boarders, and globalism, you know, the GOPe platform. FOX was always GOPe central, sons don’t need to be “brainwashed” by their wives,as there really isn’t much difference between GOPe & DEMS.

Yes, and they are right back where they were a year ago. Were they collapsed in 2019? Were they bad in 2019, because Fox is right where it was in Nov 2019. People watch the news more during an election. Surprise.

Fox is selling their ads based on oct and nov 2020 ratings, not ratings from a year ago.
50% ratings drop = 50% ad revenue drop.

Or, compared to last year, 0% revenue drop since the ratings are exactly the same as last year.

Fox News layoffs in January are going to be so much fun to watch!
They already fired all the hair and makeup folks in September so it will be fun to see who gets the boot in January due to the ratings and ad revenue collapse.
