Huizar is the fall guy to protect all the other California Democrats involved in financial schemes with the ChiComs. Don’t doubt for a second the bigwig Democrats in the state like Governor Newsom and Nancy Pelosi aren’t involved in all of this. They certainly are, but they’re being protected. Huizar is probably being paid handsomely to take the dive for all the rest of the Golden State RATS!
I’ve read that prosecutors work from the bottom up, getting convictions as they go so by the time they get to the upper level (e.g., Newsom) they bring to trial convictions on numerous people reporting to the uppper level. Having proving a ring of corruption exists and gotten convictions on foot soldiers, it’s then more compelling to juries when the prosecutor proves the hierarchical structure means the convicted report to and do the bidding of the upper level.
