Only if she has a death wish. In any case, both the House and the Senate are required to approve a new VP. The Senates special status as the representative of the state legislatures vanished after the 17th Amendment.

There’s no legal reason she couldn’t she can literally pick any American over 35 and with at least one parent a citizen and have lived here for at least a decade or more. I can give you one...she doesn't fit those eligibility requirements herself.
(and it's two citizen parents)
