The shooter is reportedly a White man between 30- and 40-years-old who stands about 5’10” tall. He wore a black jacket with a navy-colored hoodie underneath and blue jeans. His bag was gray, according to the video, an officer said.
"Anybody that gets off at that stop, with less than 10 friends, is a fool. If you've ever driven down "Daley's secret road", you know just where it is. It's dark and isolated. No one would ever find you if someone wanted to get rid of you."
testing multiple things
Yeah, OK. Some blog. A free blog maybe from some homeless bum
at the library coming down off a couple hits of crack. Yeah.
Yep.
This in Chicago?
Maybe drawing the cops away from something else that was going down at or soon after that time?
I worked at 350 Carmack in the complex and used the stop as off the south shore/metra as a flag stop. It is so empty besides the once a year car show and taste of chicago, you have to arrange for the train to let you off there. you are below the basement of the new side of McCormick Place. It is 2000 feet either way from the platform until you see daylight. Its nearly 3000 more feet to the 11th street platform to the north. It is a good way to get a ton of police moving but the only thing to shoot at is concreate, bats, rats and trains. Quite likely the most isolate place except for the stairway to a convention center that has been empty for 9 months. The lake side patio off the east halls is a hidden gem.
That was me.
Just practicing for New Year’s Eve.
He was checking his zero before opening day.
