Somewhat relevant of what is happening now, except that Cass Elliot would be eating the fake ballots rather than counting them.

I only recently learned that John Denver wrote this song.

His follow up hit song was Dying in an Experimental Plane.

Back when Reagan was governor of CA, when the state didn’t have lunatic leftists in charge, but a patriot like Reagan. What an terrible punitive change.

I often wonder if the elections in CA have been rigged for decades now. I would not be surprised one bit.

I did know that JD wrote that song. You know.... although I could never stand her politics..... nobody sings like Mary Travers. That voice in her prime was like taking medicine.

I went to a PP&M concert in 1965. Still a vivid memory.

I second that. And in her prime she was very easy on the eyes.

John had a wonderful talent too. Such an easy singer.

The first time I called the Rush Limbaugh show was the day after John died. Calle to say, “I didn’t like his politics, but I sure enjoyed his talent”.

Why? What happened? Did a Republican win?

They have managed to legally rig them for decades now, much as Massachusetts has. You can’t run as a Republican in this state, RINO governors not withstanding.

I noticed Cass said “It doesn’t matter who you vote for, as long as you believe in that Candidate, just vote.”

Better add a verse about getting the vaccine before boarding.

I have a soft spot for momma cass, when she died it was from heart failure brought on by starvation dieting and possibly a lung infection. She was very sick at the end. I put her and john pinette in the the same - rapid dieting killed them- catagory And I hope to die of something other than dieting .

It's horrible that people alway refer to Mama Cass's weight.

She was rail-thin for the most part and the photographic evidence shall bear that out.

"New World Coming" is perhaps her finest song.

If Cass Eliot and Karen Carpenter had only shared that sandwich, they might both be A live today

I’m a big fan of John Denver’s music, I couldn’t possibly choose just one song, but this one is a good one too.

“His follow up hit song was Dying in an Experimental Plane”.

Which was (at that time) so recently purchased that the cockpit was not dialed-in specifically nor properly to Denver.

IIRC IIRC IIRC A L E R T IIRC IIRC IIRC

One report theorizes that Denver could not physically reach a control strap for fuel tank switching located behind him but out of reach. He may have instigated the maneuver that crashed him while phtsically twisting himself to reach the pull-strap to switch tanks. Hitting foot controls or stick angle while jostling for the tank strap, super quick aircraft, not really checked out on the aircraft... recipe for disaster.

IIRC that is...

That’s what happened. He reached back and that caused him the depress a rudder pedal.
