know a Doc...worked with him. Had a nice wife..and kids. Decided he wanted to be a woman.
Apparently they weren’t invited along for the ride.
I’m sure it wasn’t fun watching him destroy himself. It is difficult to understand who is talking to these people, or who they are listening to. Is it just voices in their head. Very destructive voices.
They are mentally not right and there are entirely too many people helping them on their way. As you have said, the picture is not pretty when they are done with the self destruction.
I think a lot of it has to do with relationship to God, but that is just an opinion. It is definitely a very sad situation.
Have a family member with this mental illness. Heartbreaking and with little that can be done.
