The Last Jedi sucked because it was just a bad story with unlikable characters and plot points that made no sense. Light speed as a weapon? The rebels could have destroyed both Death Stars quickly and easily by just sending a ship at light speed through them.

BTW last Jedi is used in film schools as a perfect example of a bad movie and what NOT to do in film.

The rebels could have destroyed both Death Stars quickly and easily by just sending a ship at light speed through them. I was telling my wife, if it was as easy as that, you would have seen light-speed torpedoes being used.
I sincerely doubt that NOBODY before her thought "I wonder what happens when something crashes into something else at light speed?"
