A positive test result shows you might have antibodies from an infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. However, there is a chance a positive result means that you have antibodies from an infection with a virus from the same family of viruses (called coronaviruses), such as the one that causes the common cold.
The only thing that really counts is hospitalizations. We don't know if they're admitting because they really need to be there...or the hospital was simply willing to accommodate them with their "cold".
Several members of my family in another state tested positive with no symptoms. They were quarantined but still had no symptoms.
