I’m picturing the crazy cosmonaut from Armeggedon
russia has specialized in building broken sh*t since 1917, so maybe we should listen to them. they’re experts.
I read somewhere that the bigger the circle the slower it has to spin to create gravity..or maybe the other way round. Cant remember now.
That sounds right, and if the circle is too small it will spin so fast that the crew would have inner ear problems.
“Is Russia also a threat? Perhaps. But it’s so far down on the list that it’s not worth considering.”
Agree, but add China, they’re on the march now, as every country within 1000 miles of them knows.
15 billion Rubles=US$197 million bout.
The ISS probably smells akin to that of CNN’s HQ and Biden’s basement nowadays. Time to get rid of all three.
Or they could not build one and call it Space Battleship Potemkin Village.
That would be cheaper.
Its an excuse to pull resources to their own station.
i don’t balme them, they could just be honest about it
“Wouldn’t it be great to make everyone think we landed on the moon?”

lol
The biggest threat is China by far. Once we stop invading and bombing Muslim countries terrorism will die down like it has under President Trump who many Muslims respect . Muslims respect power and that is not joe Biden or Obama or Bush and Clinton .
You know Ben..all these fantasy freaks out there who paint pictures of colonies on Mars with all kinds of buildings all over on the surface need a good kick right in the ass.
ANYTHING that is established on Mars will have to be underground for Humans to survive at all.
That is why I laughed at the movie Martian.
But, it can be done. By the looks of it there is a lot of stone around to build shelters out in the open and cliffs to bore holes in for underground dwellings.
The first ones will have a hell of a lot of work to do though. And they better forget about scientific research till after they get underground.
They can build stone shelters and then inflate the biosphere inside after the thing is built. Or get a cave built and then inflate the biosphere inside. Course, there would be a good chance they’d find a cave?
Now that we don’t need to rent rocketspace from them they are taking their ball and going home.
