Hornady manufactures ammo not far from me. A couple friends work there. They always work 6-7 days a week 10 plus hors a day.

The have a couple 7 million dollar orders from the US Gov. That part of the issue.

Doesn't the military produce their own mil ammo at McCalaster OK and Lake City ?

I don’t know if Lake City manufactures bullets. I think they just assemble components into ammo. Hornady actually makes bullets.
