I think Obamacare has hurt us more than we thought it would. The idea of lockdowns and mask mandates is all centered around the concept of medical socialism. The mantra that “we are all in this together” only grows when a nation has socialized medicine. The long term benefits for getting rid of Obamacare are incredible. Is there a politician brave enough to call for the elimination of Obamacare?

How does the Antigen test isolate the Corona SARS-2 virus, since it has not been proven to exist with the Koch Postulate method?
You are ignoring everything said and focusing on your pet peeve of PCR which is. highly accurate test and only one of many diagnostic criteria used. As gas dr said come the icu for. shift - you would t last 5 minutes. At least we wouldn’t have to waste PPE on you for a disease you do not believe exists.
It’s up to each physician to decide what is therapeutically correct. As for me I do not treat early disease I am an intensivist. I am impressed with the ivermectin data and have seen it turn around moderate and late Phase disease. By no means a cure. But it improves outcomes

PCR is a confirmatory test. It in fact shows the presence of the target of study. You need to learn to do arithmetic before calculus. Trying to explain the complexities of medical testing to someone who apparently has no clear understanding behind cut and paste is impossible.
I am still waiting for something other than dismissal from you and gas_dr. Please provide evidence that Covid-19 has been isolated. As I just told gas_dr I am sincere in my questions.

The theory of PCR is that is confirms the presence of a specific genome. In this case Covid 19. That’s why it is important as a confirmatory test. It does not confirm live virus. We see all the time late positive tests that mean little except that the dead viral genome is still percolating up from the lower respiratory tract.
Let me give you a real life example. I had a patient who for all the world looked like Covid. Rapid antigen negative (false negative). Ran PCR and it was positive. Therefore I initiated Covid treatment and isolation percautions. Patient did ok. Did not transmit. So there is power in confirmation. PCR tells you yes or no. The clinical picture tells you infective or progressive or not
It’s why medicine is an art still. I have read the article before you refer to. It is correct that PCR is not a screening tool nor should it be. But corona virus gives a very set constellation of symptoms that progresses to SARS. MERS was corona I believe and explains why we could dust of vaccines and move forward quickly.
The point is in medicine you have to test appropriately to arrive at a diagnosis. Most certainly and I think we can all agree to this testing is far overblown. And inappropriate. In my state e ran 140,000’tesra Wednesday. Positivity went way down but the media says we have a surge Becuase the absolute number was 10,000. The media is complicit and ignorant in what is going on.

Thanks for the reply. I have just been fed up with so much conflicting data about this situation. Its a pandemic, no it isn’t, Cases mean we need to lock everyone down, cases mean nothing because the PCR test is wrong 90% of the time. The list goes on and on.
I just want to start at the most logical place, and that it whether or not there really is an isolated Covid-19 virus. Some say there has never been an isolated virus period, and others say that Covid-19 has already mutated 40,000 times.
So please, out of all the sincerity I can muster, provide me the sanity that there really is a study showing isolation. Maybe JAMA or any trusted journal or periodical and I will study it and make as much sense of it as I can. Hopefully you can answer my honest questions about it as well. Thank you for your time.
