Glad he got out and is reasonably well. That was a massive impact to punch a hole in the Armco barrier, it destroyed the front half of the car. Wonder if F1 cars have G meters like the Indy cars used? The G forces from that impact are going to be large, somewhere north of 50 G’s (conservative estimate). Good thing it was Armco which bent and absorbed much of the impact, a solid wall would have been a much different story.
Yes Live Telemetry on G as well as several thousand more. Tyre pressure, Each Cylinder of Engine, All Engine Sensors, MGU or whatever they call the none nine thingy, 4 corners on Brakes and many more. I’m not sure if they still use The Pucker Factor Sensor or not.
