We have been discussing the use of the criminal code by Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel (D) to threaten people who post videos on alleged voter fraud or legislators who raise such objections in the state. These threats are coercive and abusive, particularly when targeting opponents of your party who are challenging the victory of your candidate for president. Yet, as shown by a congressman seeking to disbar dozens of Trump lawyers, such threats are popular in today’s rage-filled politics. So, Nessel continued her threats of prosecution on Monday in warning that a former state senator could be prosecuted for alleging possible voter fraud at a meeting of the Michigan Board of State Canvassers. So, raising voting fraud at the board overseeing voting is now a possible basis for prosecution in Michigan.
Former state Sen. Patrick Colbeck (R) raised his concerns during the meeting. He was appropriately asked if he had brought his allegations of voter fraud to the state attorney general. Julie Matuzak (D) asked “If you’re alleging fraud in this election, have you taken it to the attorney general, your evidence?” She noted that the board has little ability to investigate such claims. Colbeck responded “I’ve submitted my affidavits to lawyers, and we’ve moved it up the chain that way. I can submit it to anybody you’d like me to submit it to.”
Of course, many Republicans in the state may be a tad reluctant to reach out to Nessel given her threats of prosecution against citizens and legislators alike.
As if to fulfill that view, Nessel immediately responded with yet another threat of prosecution. She noted that Colbeck “has never made a complaint of election fraud” to her office and then added “Colbeck’s assertions aside, intentionally making a false claim of criminal activity to law enforcement is itself a crime. It’s been my experience that is often the reason certain reports are not made.”
...the “reasons certain [voter fraud] reports are not made” may have something to do with Nessel’s continued threat to prosecute people making such reports. That threat is directed not just at Colbeck but those who signed these affidavits. In other words, you must submit your allegations of fraud to me but I may prosecute you if you submit your allegations of fraud to me. Hardly an inviting prospect.Big Press saying "no fraud." DHS saying "fairest election in the history of mankind." Michigan threatening to jail you if you allege voter fraud. Corrupt Democrats managing thoroughly corrupt elections in ONLY five big cities nationwide to steal the election in those five states to win the presidency. Lawyers being told they and their clients have no standing for lawsuits.Nessel’s approach is akin to the state health director encouraging every one to come in for a check up but warning that some will be subject to euthanasia.
And we thought the federal Deep State was bad.
Deprivation of rights under color of law.
She’s warning against knowingly making false accusationsfalse and is insinuating that’s why the complaint hasn’t reached her desk yet.
She is certainly trying to intimidate with her assertion, but any lawyer worth a crap would know how to deal with this.
this is pure panic by the dems. If anyone thinks they got away with this fake election. Think again
Star and feather this azzhat and send her in a box to Venezuela.
Dana Nessel is female, in a same sex relationship.
So where is Bob Barr? It is well past time for him to step up to the plate and do his job. I have growing contempt for him as a man.
Those that wrote up an affidavit in PA makes sure you get a lawyer if they call you
Enjoying his silence payola.
Yes, Weissman is making statements saying that the Biden administration should prosecute Trump after he is out of office. Trump needs allies to go after the real criminals.
in Guardian Australia, a smug-faced, prog left, freelance lifestyle “writer” in Melbourne wants to criminalize skywriting because of “#Trump 2020” sign that appeared in Sydney skies post-election.
(Guardian had no problem with “#BLM” sign over Sydney Opera House earlier in the year, of course):
25 Nov: Guardian: Who owns Australia’s sky and what can you actually write there?
If someone has a problem with a billboard or broadcast, the avenues for recourse are clear – but skywriting is an entirely different matter

Every year or so, a controversial message appears out of the blue.
In 2017 it was “Trump”. The name of the recently inaugurated president was scrawled over protesters at the Sydney Women’s March. Later that year it was “Vote No”, in opposition to the marriage equality bill. In 2019, as New South Wales debated legislation on abortion, the sky read “save unborn” and “choose life”.
This month “Trump 2020” was emblazoned on the sky, half a world away from where the defeated president was making ***false claims of voter fraud...
There are occasional progressive messages too. In June “#BLM” was written over Sydney as Black Lives Matter protesters took to the streets. ***But the conservative messages consistently draw the most public outrage...
If people have a problem with something on TV or radio, they can lodge a complaint with the Australian Communications and Media Authority. But if something’s written in 700-metre-tall letters above their homes, it’s not always clear where people should direct their complaints – or even who paid for the message...
‘Nobody owns the sky’
Michael Bradley, the managing partner at Marque Lawyers, explains: “The fundamental problem is that nobody owns the sky.
“Skywriting is not specifically regulated at all in Australian law,” he says. “However, it can be susceptible – at least in theory – to a range of laws governing public expression. It is a form of speech, just like any other.”...
Guardian Australia put questions to four state police services, all of which referred us to the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (Casa)...
NSW police did not provide an updated response. Both SA and Victoria police suggested that, if reported to police, an issue may be investigated in the same way as offensive graffiti. ACT police was hesitant to speculate as “we don’t usually deal in hypotheticals”.
“It’s a bit of a strange one,” an ACT police media spokesperson says, laughing...

This AG needs to be sent to prison as fast as the justice system can achieve it. What a corruptoid!!!
Obviously this oaf is a compromised loser. Money? Sex? Drugs? Enquiring minds want to know.
A bullet would stop her.
Detroit-based attorney Dana Nessel (L) and her partner Alanna Maguire (R) after Tuesday's Supreme Court oral arguments on same-sex marriage. Nessel proposed to Maguire -- she said yes. (WXYZ.com)
The AG is not a HE it’s a sort of SHE. A Jewish homosexual to be exact. She is actually “married” to another woman and has two children. Heil Hitler.
There are MI legislators testifying to blatant mass voter fraud.
Don’t think she has authority to arrest legislators or citizens for recording what they have witnessed.
Michigan, like nearly all left wing jurisdictions, has elected people to authority who don’t know the most basic principles of the law they represent.
This AG needs to be arrested on charges ofassive criminal obstruction of justice, and thrown in prison (not jail)!
