yeah, you have a point. I googled up PA hospital capacity. many stories out there saying they can still handle a surge. many more prime examples of what the God damned MSM SAYS that science says, but didn’t really say. And many hysterical stories about what THE MODELS say — and who thought anyone would have the balls to mention the **cking models ever again.
Ultimately, this isn’t an untrue statement, but it is intended to unnecessarily scare people:
“COVID-19 rates are rising & hospitals could soon be at capacity.”
I still have no problem with the idea if the emergency COVID text. I have an issue with the wording. Rates ARE rising; we probably SHOULD try to be smart over the holiday.
My daughter is an ICU nurse. If they were approaching capacity I think I would know.
According to her they can ramp-up additional ICUs quickly if needed. Hospitals don’t maintain them constantly for economic reasons.
