Wast just informed by my boss I will be asked to go home if I don't wear a mask while on premise.
Informed him of my anxiety condition and he said get a doctors note.
Informed him the are I work in is 900 Square feet and I am generally the only person in that office and "the rules" say I am exempt from a mask under those conditions.
"Go tell your king newsom but, that is the way it is" he replied.
"If you have to wear a mask at the grocery store, you can wear one at work" was another answer.
Mthfkr! When I go to a grocery store I am in and out. I don't shop for a full weeks groceries anymore because I cannot have that damn thing on for very long without getting highly anxious.
Regardless, you are imposing a draconian measure where there, even if this whole thing is a fraud, clear rules such as:
If you are interacting with another person and within six (6) feet of each other.
If you cannot maintain a distance of more than six (6) feet you are required to wear a mask.
and On and On
1. I do not work near anyone at all. Colleagues are in another room. My desk is 25-30 feet away from my office door.
2. I do not have to interact with them to even do my job.
3. I can totally do my job out of the office. One wonders why they handed me a laptop and a cell phone.
I completed an order just the other day without coming to the office.
Now that is funny.
Yesterday, after cleaning my car, I didn't realize my stash of masks was no longer in there when I had to run into the post office. There was a dried up Lysol wipe. I threw it over my face and secured it with my sunglasses.
My advice to Vendome: Eat beans the night before work. Pass gas while standing next to your boss the next day. If he smells it and is offended, explain to him that masks protect against the virus about as well as two or three layers of clothes protect against odors.
Get a Dr.’s note and it could be considered a reasonable accommodation under ADA. Full time teleworking could also be an RA if possible for your situation.
We get a religious exemption to opt out of vaccines. Get a Doctors note. When in Rome, follow Roman law if it is not evil, but get exemptions
Wear a MAGA mask. You’ll be exempt within 30 seconds of walking through the door.
They already know my politics and are fine with it

Wearing no mask is even more like wearing nothing. When I go into a store, I have a mask in my pocket (a blue mask with the two white layers removed), but I don’t wear it. None of the store employees seems to care around here. If one of them insists, I’ll wear the mask or leave, depending on the employee’s level of courtesy.
Karens have no authority, and the most polite response one of them gets is a curt recommendation to mind its own business. Actually, it’s even more fun to feign incomprehension until Karen lowers his or her mask.
It was an experiment to walk in 101 degrees and see what happens.

You will need to ask him. Has he asked to work from home?
Vendome, consider giving the face shield a try if you haven't. It may fog up too IDK. Contact an attorney if your really want to go scorched earth but be ready to lose your job.
Thing is, it also putting a rash on my ears and they get very sore

i am waiting for Northam to insist we wear masks in our homes. Eff him, it ain’t gonna happen.
Ha! I hear ya. Like other’s have said just go get the doctor’s note. Plenty of quacks in Cali, just look at all the med marijuana patients.
1. It’s basically my office. 700 square feet of no one around.
2. Just went upstairs to speak with our boss about our CRM and he wasn’t wearing a mask until 10 minutes into the conversation.
He put his on, I put mine and he gave me a look.
“I’ll wear the mask under certain conditions but believe me, it won’t be on very long” My reply
3. There is no reason I cannot do my job remotely. I am in outside sales and don’t really do anything while I am in my office but chat.
If they are serious about “Covid-19” then they are going to have to look into accommodations for job categories like all the other companies have done.
