I have a question about the Georgia runoff and am hoping someone can enlighten me.
To my knowledge they only recounted presidential votes.
They only recounted the Presidential...
I agree, if they counted all the closely contested races David Perdue would probably be Senator-elect...
Why only the presidential race re-counted? Haven’t found anyone who could answer why.....
From the looks of it, the whole nation needs an audit of the election results.
Unfortunately, they’re only recounting presidential votes. In reality, if they did a n honest recount of “legal” votes, Trump would take GA.
My understanding is that Perdue needed 14,080 votes to get over the threshold. There were not enough new votes ‘discovered’ to force the recount.
I am a poll monitor and now a part of the poll review panel. The recount is only for the presidential election and no other races.
The upcoming machine tally will provide nearly the same results. A true audit should have been conducted with signature verification, but since there is no way to verify signatures this is an exercise in futility.
I’m curious about the electoral vote in Dec. Seems this should be getting some attention too.
Yep, as Rudy stated in his presser.
There are two run off’s in January
1. Kelly Loeffler vs Warnock, this run off will halt regardless of recount, there were about 12 people in the race. Warnock only got 32% Loeffler got 25% as there was a Luther popular republican runnin, Doug Collins got 19%.
2. Perdue vs Offsoff, this was close, 50 to 48%, if they recount it could change, most likely would if they threw out illegal votes
The recent recount was only for the presidential race.
What are they changing for the Jan 5th elections? Do they really expect us to use the same, corrupted system? With the same stinkin, rotten officials?
Unfortunately, Yes.
Georgia law calls for a recount when candidates are within 0.5% of one another. It does not count when a candidate is within 0.5% of avoiding a runoff. So, there cannot be a recount of Perdue’s senate race.
