Woman charged after assaulting two men at gas station over face mask

CINCINNATI — A Cincinnati man is recovering after half of his face was fractured during an argument inside a gas station over a face mask Sunday night. One woman now stands charged in the assault, but the victims said they hope other suspects involved will see justice.

Steven Long and James Saylor told WCPO they were assaulted inside a Bond Hill Thornton’s gas station on Reading Road, and it all started over a question about a face mask.

“I was just in complete, utter shock,” Long said.

Long told WCPO he stepped up to the counter to pay, but first asked the clerk a question.

“I asked the clerk, ‘Are you not enforcing the mask rule anymore?’ This woman turned around with some explicit language, and smacked me right in the face,” Long said.

That’s when Saylor said the woman began throwing soda cans, food and fruit at the pair.

“Then she goes to display signs. She’s tearing up the store,” he said.

According to a police report of the incident, 31-year-old Tra’chell Bonner was upset Long asked about mask enforcement.

“She was kicking me in the chest. I’ve never seen, or experienced anything like this,” Long said. That’s when he called 911.

“She has (Saylor) in the corner by the ATM, biting him. I’m trying to get her off of him. I didn’t realize she still has him in her mouth,” he said.

The Cincinnati Police report describes Bonner grabbing a metal sign and hitting Saylor before other suspects got involved. WCPO has requested security footage and 911 calls for the incident.

“They’re stomping all over my body. Intentionally stomping on my head. As soon as the police get there, they scatter. Run. Right past the police, get in their car and leave.”

“I asked the clerk, ‘Are you not enforcing the mask rule anymore?’ ...

Why did you do that? Were you afraid to say anything to an oppressed BIPOC woman (?) of oppressionism color, and so you wanted the clerk to sacrifice himself to make your Statement?

Didn't work.

Just paid $1.56 here in Missouri (but that did include a .17 discount for shopping at a grocery store that gives discounts for gas) so really it was $1.73 a gallon.

Wages are lower here but the quality of life is so much better. And prices are comparatively lower to go with the lower wages which is also why a federal minimum wage across the board makes no sense - but I digress. :)

And here I am paying at least $3.49 for the same thing.

$1.599 a gallon behind enemy lines here in the Albuquerque metro. But La Gobernadora has the state locked down tight. So vehicle traffic is down a bunch.

Moving? Maybe one day. I miss snow without having to pay for skis or a cottage along with it the snow.
But then, I rarely do long distance driving these days, so maybe the gas price is another Necessary Evil to tolerate.

I expect to see more articles concerning violence over face diapers.

I live in Ohio and our RINO governor is a power mad lunatic.

He does at least one, hour and a half news conference a week on covid with his wife filmed in their family room.

Yesterday before he gave us the latest figures and newly issued edicts, his wife told us about their new grandbaby, how they were going to celebrate a Zoom Thanksgiving and where he got his turkey.

Nobody in Ohio gives a rip.

Here is what I understand about this. Two white guys enter the store wearing masks. They notice that another customer, a black woman, is not wearing a mask and make a comment to the clerk. The woman goes psycho and punches one of the men. She continues to rampage in the store throwing stuff and attacks one of the men including biting him. It is implied by the article that other customers in the store also attacked the men punching and kicking one on the floor. The police were only able to capture the woman. Hope there is a camera that took all this in. The woman and the other customers are guilty of assault and maybe hate crimes.

I dunno. Im sick to death of masks too. I’d like to pound some heads over it myself. Especially the mask enforcer at Costco who forced a woman to mask her autistic 4 year old who was having a fit.

The mom was in tears. Her childs school is closed so she is with him 24/7. Her husband was laid off because covid but found some temporary work a few hours away and she had a costco give card she wanting to use for eggs and milk and bread since she was down to very little cash until her husbands payday. Plus she paid for a membership last january.
She is now forced to mask her child with a disability.
I could have bashed the mask nazi face into the concrete.

I truly truly have no sympathy for these male Karens. This crap is psychological bullying. They probably Antifa on the weekends, let’s just be real.

“The woman and the other customers are guilty of assault and maybe hate crimes.”

These guys are probably happy and carefree city dwellers who think (previously thought) that being out at night in all parts of the city is perfectly safe.

Those soyboys aren’t wearing masks and they’re about four inches apart max.

I vote for Tra’chell to whip their butts again.
