WAUWATOSA, Wis. -- Multiple witnesses report that gunshots were fired at Mayfair Mall, leading to a massive response from law enforcement Friday afternoon.

Based on the injuries this sounds like someone sprayed bullets with a handgun. Guessing it was gang violence.

Just happens to be the area for sheriff David Clarke’s stop the steal rally tomorrow...really the last inner ring suburban mall left in Milwaukee.
The Wauwatosa mayor, common council and fire and police commission have basically condoned all sorts of violence during riots and protests this summer. The policeman (an African American) resigned this week and Mayfair Mall has become a place where undesirable people,can congregate now without worry of being rousted. It’s a shame, the place used to be great, but the lefty mayor and his sycophants have condoned bad behavior.

Malls usually spiral after their first gang shooting.
In 1980, Randall Park Mall was the largest and best shopping mall in Metro Cleveland. First gang violence 1985, and the white shoppers bailed. By the turn of the century, it was well into decline, and by 2009 the mall was completely dead.

That seems to be a predictable pattern for most shopping centers after a certain age.
