Not true. I know of a 90 year-old woman with cancer who was in in a critical care unit at Memorial Hermann in Houston who was told there was nothing else they could do for her. Memorial Hermann refused to treat her with the hydroxychloriquine cocktail.
Her family ordered an ambulance, had her taken to the MD Anderson ER where she was treated with the hydroxychloriquine cocktail, and she made a full recovery.
Good to know.
that is a horrific story. I am going to send it to the person in charge of my health care as a reminder that you have to aggressively take responsibility for your healthcare sometimes.
I think this is a shaky story. It would be an EMTALA violation to do that, and most certainly an ICU to ER transport would be illegal. Further if critical, a family would be barred from taking a patient AMA.
Additionally HCQ is not all that great in late phase disease. This is where Ivermectin comes in.
During the first wave, my neighbor who is retired Army got the bad news he’s infected. Around May.
He’s 74.
Because the county hospital was full, he was on an awful line up and went home, collapsed at the street, called Uber to take him home and he prepared to die. Even wrote his will.
However, he took 6 tablets of VIT C and D COMBINED went to sleep and woke up 16 hours refreshed. Went back days later because the stupid hospital “lost” him,(and called him for a proper test) and it was negative. We saw the paperwork and looks legit. No medical cocktails etc.
