Intelligence is very murky and scary world. And it uses people up and spits them out.
Wasnt CIA originally the OSS, a branch of U.S. Army intelligence? I think it was Eisenhower who was alarmed when OSS was moved out from army to an independent agency.
ECW delivered a speech to place Spec Ops under civilian leadership equivalent to the Depts of the AF, Army and Navy.
He is the new Service Chief and reports to SecDef
SecDef gave a speech announcing the civilian head of Spec Ops ( ECW) will report directly to him and that this organization serves the interests of the soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen under this command
Not seeing a raid on spook assets here, but a raid on the military services to chop Spec Ops assets to a new separate Dept ( SEALS, etc?)
