‘Gimme Danger’ is a documentary about Iggy Pop aka Jim Osterberg. The film closed out comparing punk bands, from the past to the present, to Iggy & The Stooges from the late ‘60s, early ‘70s. I will say, all Iggy’s children are playing his licks.
John Lydon aka “Johnny Rotten” had been publicly supporting Donald Trump for years but this fall he did several interviews where he openly endorsed Trump, spoke out against Democrat leadership/control of California, and spoke out against the COVID lockdowns.
He also set straight his critics who said that because he’s “punk” he must think “one way”. He says it always was about doing things your way.
