Dachshunds are vicious!

LOL, I used to know a guy who had three dachshunds, and when you arrived at the door, they would attack...but then...leave you alone.

All was well until you got up to leave, and they would attack you again.

I always feared for my Achilles tendons...

We had a Dachsie while I was growing up. He lived to be 17! ‘Otto Heinerich Von Boosch.’

We still miss and talk about that dog. When Dad was suffering from Dementia before cancer got him, one question he would always ask when I visited or we talked on the phone was, ‘Hows my dog? You taking good care of him?’

At that point, that dog had already been gone for 43 years! Obviously, he left an impression. Dad never asked about PEOPLE that went before him; his parents, best friends or his two wives, LOL! :)

At one time MT. lions fear dogs of all sizes.

As they were hunted hard with hounds.

Now they often prey on dogs having lost their fear of them.

I’ve owned two Dachshunds. Fearless, they think they are big dogs. Extremely loyal and loving, but not that intelligent. Our last one we took to obedience school. It was embarrassing seeing him unable to keep up with the other dogs. If they had dunce caps, he would have earned one. Finally, the instructor said he could get his “diploma” if he came to us when called. At least, he managed that.
