I am curious. Did your friend tell you why honey was supposed to be helpful? And, what kind of honey?

Before there were all of these medicines people managed to stay healthy somehow. Honey seems to be a wonder drug, especially local raw honey. It’s got antiviral properties and studies are being done on its efficacy for covid 19. There is a reason you take tea or hot water with honey when you’re sick and its not just to make your drink sweet.
It was actually my friends daughter, both had Covid 19, but daughter was told about honey.
It was to. Help with her coughing, she has asthma.
Both got pneumonia.
Friend got breathing treatment after 3 rd trip to emergency.
Last time they kept her overnight and gave her 3 treatments.
