President @realDonaldTrump’s nominee to the Federal Reserve is incredibly qualified. The @WhiteHouse fully supports her, and we remain confident that Judy Shelton will be confirmed upon reconsideration.
My understanding is that Turtle switched his vote to “no” at the last minutes because a) it wouldn’t have made a difference and more importantly b) there is a senate rule which allows a “no” vote to petition for a revote at a later date. The “yeas” don’t have that ability....
