I agree that’s what he’s trying to say. I also agree that leftists are something different. The problem is that you can’t get to leftism unless you go through liberalism. You don’t go from anywhere to leftist via any other route; unless you’re already left of leftists.
Never been a fan of Prager. He’s just mealy mouthing liberalism. Go along to get along. Maybe not a “never”-Trumper, but an “I’m embarrassed by your actions and won’t you just please go away”-Trumper.

Actually what he is stating, and has for some time, is that Classical Liberalism is not what the Left is claiming it is and that they have corrupted the term to claim it is the same as Leftism when it is not.
