“Odiousbama”
This “pastor” sounds like a colossal *hithead.
White Evangelicalsâyou never once suggested that God placed him where he was, you never publicly offered prayers for him and his family, you never welcomed him to your Christian Universities, you never gave him the benefit of the doubt in any instance, you never spoke of offering him forgiveness or mercy, your evangelists never publicly thanked God for his leadership, your pastors never took to the pulpit to offer solidarity with him,you never made any effort to affirm his humanity or show the love of Jesus to him in any quantifiable measure.
Obviously, this person has never attended the churches I attended. We frequently offered prayers for Obama and did recognize that God allowed him to be the pres for 8 years.
What is it with these “Christians” who think about things in racial terms? Strange.
I'm with yoiu on this one. Obama got his centerpiece legislation passed (ACA) in his first term. He and the ‘Rats could have got more passed if they hadn't overreached, which is a typical failing. About the only thing Obama really got his head handed to him on was the Garland Merrick nomination. But that was just politics and is the way things work in DC. You have your opposition party in control of the Senate, you have to make deals to get some of what you want. Not all,. but some.
I’ve seen this exact same weak nonsense every few days for the past five years. Has there ever before been a political argument that has been repeated so incessantly? I blame white Evangelicals. We need to learn to say, ‘Screw you, commie! Jesus hates commies and so do I!’
He makes straw man arguments against “white” evangelicals, slandering all “white” evangelicals as taking positions that only a few “white” evangelicals made against Obama, and ignoring Obama's radical Leftism, his embrace of radical Islam. his attacks on the religious faithful and pro-life Christians as among the chief motivations of “white” evangelicals against Obama.
From that false case he does nothing less than use Obama's false claim of “white” racism as what held back “white” evangelicals from supporting him.
Christians have come to understand when voting for a president (1) they are not electing a head of their church, (2) they are electing someone who they hope as good political morals for keeping faith with our Constitutions and it's foundations in our Liberty, or religious Liberty and our freedom of expression, (3) with that morality weighing more than the past personal moral errors of the individual. We have learned it is best to judge a politician less on their demeanor than on the actions and policies they make while in office. It is snakes that hide behind a nice demeanor, while the just man rages against the falseness around him.
If Whites are evil, then every action that can be taken against Whites is justified.
They are laying the groundwork for genocide against Whites.
They will try to take the rights, families, homes, businesses, money, and lives of Whites.
The traffic is murder too.
Absolutely right. He, like many false shepherds, will have to repent or answer for leading the way to hell for people he’s excused sin. And brother, I find myself clinging to that powerful passage you quoted at the end!
All accurate.
The evangelicals I know were not the least bothered that he was black. Many thought it was kindof neat that he was. What the didn’t like was his leftism, his personal race-baiting, and more prominently his promotion of race-baiting surrogates.
” Then his brother came out as gay. Pavlovitz had grown up with a vague discomfort about gay people, yet his first reaction at hearing the news about his brother was relief. He finally understood why his sibling had been so depressed, and he was happy that his parents embraced his brother’s identity.
Those two events were pivotal, says Pavlovitz: they opened his mind about who was worthy of compassion and love....
... And then, one day in 2013, he was fired.
“You don’t fit here. You’ve never fit here,” the head pastor told him....”One day you’re unemployed; the next day CNN calls,” Pavlovitz says. The shift was incredible. Suddenly he had an audience, and he was going to use it.”
“The word “Christian” used to mean something good. Today it is associated with more negative things …
Intolerance, hypocrisy, hatred, ignorance
Exploiting adults for money and children for sex
Antagonism toward science, women, and LGBT people”

The same old story. Someone’s brother comes out as a homosexual, and it means Jesus & Paul everyone since is wrong. Because, you know, sticking your penis in a man’s butt is so....natural?
On the North Raleigh Community Church page for “Recommended Reading” the fact that the Bible isn’t one of the books recommended tells me all I need to know about John Pavlovitz & his “church”. How can it be a church if God’s word isn’t preached there?
>>Your willingness to align yourself with cruelty is a costly marriage. Yes, you’ve gained a Supreme Court seat,
A supposed Christian leader upset that aborting babies may be restricted.
All I can do is SMH at most of these “Cliché” Pastors.
They think they’re cool cause their down with the cause.
The Lord says otherwise..
Proverbs 6:16-19
16 There are six things the Lord hates,
seven that are detestable to him:
17 haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
19 a false witness who pours out lies
and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
James 4:4 fits really nicely with this dude.
He’s got ‘friends’...for now...
Never heard of him.
He's just another deluded "pastor" who's trying to be the hip, cool, well liked "pastor".
He should lynch himself to show himself sincere. I’ll even help him.
Dig even a tiny sliver beneath his “evangelical” bonafides and I’m certain you’ll find an apostate “emergent” church full of universalist, leftist empty-skulls.
