Immensely better today, almost like it never happened. The “Pings” page opened in maybe 2 seconds. I guess the DNS servers have cauhht up now and it should be smooth sailing from here on, barring other unrelated glitches.

I was moderator on another forum several years ago when the owner migrated to different software. (computer tech support) Same hosting service, but new software. That was interesting. Took about a month to iron out all the wrinkles. But we had the same issue when he moved to a different hosting outfit earlier, I had forgot about that. A couple of days and it sorted itself out, same as here, DNS servers had to all “get the memo.”
