I just went back and checked that poster that Weston put up. Janet Fogarty, who appears to be a smart lawyer from California working in Massachusetts, is the contact person. She is well-known for her support of Republican endeavors. The email given is MassGOP. I think we need to give it more time.

However, I say that with the concern that it might be a hoax. There was no email confirming they received our volunteering. It is not that difficult to set up an automatic confirmation email.

So, we wait. If someone steals my indentity they are in for a sad reckoning. Missionaries are not known for their bank accounts. That’s for mega-church pastors.

Sounds like it’s on the up-and-up. The hoax thing was just a quick thought I had, I wasn’t really serious. Anybody could just search my name and come up with my address.

I just feel silly because I was telling the veterinarian that I’m using an appointment sooner then they wanted because I was going to go be a poll watcher. Then I was going to cancel my hair appointment for next week. I haven’t been for 6 months so I do need to go!

I took the poster requesting poll workers from Larry Schweiker's Twitter page. I thought that would be safe. The poster is still on his feed (see screenshot I just took) but many of the replies are saying it is a fake. I would think he would take it down. I hope no spam or worse will happen to you. Sorry.
