I got off work at 8:00 this eve and trying to get caught up at this late eve,and it's not easy when you get home so late.

I'm off Sunday! Yay!
I'll work all week but off Thursday for the first time in 6 years!
Retail Hell is what I call it but grateful to spend Thanksgiving with family for the first time in awhile. :)

I worked at Michaels (yes, *that* Michaels) for 14 years as a part time job. Except during the holiday season it became a full time job. And I was already working a full time job.

I would close most nights; since the store closed at 10 instead of 9, that meant I often wasn’t leaving until 11. Then an hour drive home. Then back up at 4 a.m. to report to my regular job which was an hour commute to Nashville. Then straight to Michaels after leaving my regular job. Rinse, repeat.

I do not shop any retail on Thanksgiving weekend, just out of principle. LOL

Glad to hear you'll get to spend Thanksgiving with family. Its so important we keep our traditions. I got a nice surprise yesterday, I received a 25 dollar gift certificate at honey baked ham. It was from the company I retired from a few years ago.
