OK, I just received a text from my SIL with the bad news...no Thanksgiving at her house after 35 years...bummer.

I'm thinking my perspective is out of whack...when you look for the bad, expecting it, you will get it. When you look for the good, you will get it.

We will be staying home, was invited to go to the valley to our daughters but son can't get the Fri. after Thanksgiving off.

Very sorry about your SIL buckling under all the crazy. I would bet good money many well known fearmongering well known demonrat politicians will be having their family and friends gathering for Thanksgiving.

It is the same old story. They tell us not to eat meat, have children, consume energy, etc. AND not to go to ANYTHING except to spend in corporate stores. Then fly all the time in their private jets between their several personal mansions and ‘gatherings’. Eating, drinking, partying as we can only dream of.
