Sunday night my husband went to the hospital because he was feeling winded (48 years old). He had had shoulder surgery about 2 weeks prior so he was chalking it up to tensing too much from pain.
They did several tests on him, admitted him, more tests and then told us he needs an open heart triple heart bypass (family history)-- we are devastated and could really use your prayers right now.
My husband said "Have Faith" but to be honest, I feel like my wells are empty and I am having a hard time drawing upon them. I am scared...we have been married 30 years and he is our family's rock.
I know so many families here have gone through much more and I have so much to be thankful for... we probably found it a month away from a heart attack (50% clog, 90% clog, 80% clog).
Surgery is tomorrow at noon and I would appreciate you holding my husband Keith up in your prayers...thank you freeper family~

Had my 19 yr old daughter just go through Heart bypass surgery.

Hang in there! My step-dad had quadruple by-pass surgery in his 60s. He made a complete recovery and even jogs. Just keep breathing.

I know fear, shock and worry are foremost in your mind right now and I don’t want in anyway to belittle those grave concerns but I want you to also give thanks. Many with this sort of condition in their forties simply pass away without a diagnosis. You have time and a great chance.
I pray for God’s protection and healing of your husband. My father had the operation at age 68. He lived to be 87.
May the good Lord see you and your husband through this time and may he come out stronger.
Prayers for faith for you and health from the only One that gives them, Christ Jesus. Firm up your foundations! He will never forsake us!
Prayers sent your way. I remember when I got a phone call saying my father needed to have heart bypass surgery right away. I figured that might be the end as my father had several health issues from WWII injuries. But he lived for another 18 years after that surgery.

My Brother went through it last year. He is doing great now and feels better than he has in years! This surgery is very well understood and it’s actually really, really safe. I am sure your Hubby will come through just fine and after recuperation will have more energy than he has had in years.

I just did 3 lvl lower back stabilization with bone grafts, lag screws and bailing wire implants 25 Sept. I was scared. I was praying constantly. Audio bible on my phone and tablet. You bet!
Thank you God for seeing me thu it and giving me a wonderful wife to help me thu it. PLease bolster terart’s faith at this critical time and give her a lasting reassurance that You are in control. In Jesus holy name.

But be confident also in your doctors, they’ve done this many times before and people go on for many years afterwards. God gives us strength.
Praying that the doctors and nurses are given wisdom from the Lord and that God grant you and your family peace and blessed assurance of your husband’s complete recovery.
