And if the reverse would have happened? I bet the driver would still be employed with AAA. As it is, while there may be details we’re missing here, in short the AAA driver screwed up.

The “inside baseball” to this story pertains to the specifics of AAA’s contract with how companies. FOR EXAMPLE: Tow companies contracted with AAA MUST paint their rigs with a AAA-approved paint scene, which features yellow as the dominant color.
Since the trucks exhibit the AAA brand, no surprise that driver behavior is governed by AAA guidelines.
I wonder if the car was not covered under the policy or some other issue. Poor tow truck driver is toast in any case. Cannot refuse to serve the “elect,” even if they have not paid for service.

I support this truck driver. If he had refused to tow a vehicle with a Trump sticker, he would have received a raise and been hailed a National Hero.

I’d really like to hear the tow truck driver’s side of the story. Wouldn’t surprise me if the pro-Biden fool was being such a richard that the driver wouldn’t put up with it.

If this was a Trump supporter who was abandoned, AAA would issue a apology and tell the world it had suspended the tow truck driver. That would be the end of it. My dad taught me that turnabout is fair play.
