“We are in a very difficult situation at the moment, especially in the U.S., where all the environmental controls that were put in place — that were just about adequate — have been rolled back by the current administration so much that they are being wiped out,” Jagger said.”

I thought Mick was supposed to be smart and savvy. Is someone paying him to say this tripe? Also, I wonder what Jagger’s carbon footprint is - large homes, private jets, gas guzzling cars, etc.

“...rolled back by the current administration...”

Like many leftists, couldn’t force himself to say the words “President Trump”.

Mick Jagger is a fraud ... worried about the environment but as you point out his use of the resources is excessive compared to the average person trying to make a living. Tell you what Mick, next concert, no electricity at the venue and you walk to your show from wherever you are at to show by example how much you love the planet over money.

I’ll never hear any song of his band the same way. His fearful expression captured at Altamont in ‘69 where a black man was murdered right in front of him ... maybe the race gestapo needs to assign some culpability to him for not jumping in and stopping it.
