Polio crippled and killed children, up to 30% of the people infected with it. COVID-kills 80-year olds in nursing homes. It has about a 99.994% survival rate. Most people don't even know they have it. Most that do fight it for a couple of weeks and then it goes away. It's a cold.
Why do I need a vaccine? Not believing I need a vaccine against EVERYTHING does not make me an anti-vaxxer.
It’s the contagious nature of COVID. It might not kill 9 people out of 10 but it will spread to 100 people quick. Then it will kill 10 while 200 are spreading it. Do you get the picture?
The CDC says otherwise.
"Paralysis or weakness in the arms, legs, or both, occurs in about 1 out of 200 people with poliovirus infection."
"Paralysis is the most severe symptom associated with polio, because it can lead to permanent disability and death. Between 2 and 10 out of 100 people who have paralysis from poliovirus infection die, because the virus affects the muscles that help them breathe."

Smallpox, variola major, had a 30% fatality rate.
‘Why do I need a vaccine?’
