The Tonight Show Head Writer Rebecca Drysdale Exits(Deadline)
Can anyone explain this to me? First of all, does this person not want to write Trump jokes, because they like Trump? I don't quite get it. That's a pretty plum job for a comedy writer to give up.
The posted article says it's a, "He," while the Deadline article said the same person is a, "she."
I think soon the word “normal” is going to be obsolete in America.
This kept going back and forth on he and she.
I dont know what it is.
looks like a jimmy fallon double
it may be a heshe.
Is this article translated from the original Martian?
Its a badly written article but I think the gist is that snowflake transgender here thought that it doing humor about Trump was immoral because orange man bad and making fun of him increases his power.
Screw this turd.
On second thought, maybe not.
What I read he/she would vote for him!!
I can not decide the outcome of this election, but I can choose to vote for him from my creative life wherever we go when this is over, he wrote, adding that he would never write words to come out of his mouth, to see his picture edited or manipulated, or him Discuss how to have fun again.
That has got to be one of the worst written articles I’ve ever read. SMH
The only thing I could make out from the article is that the comedy writers are not unanimously anti Trump... that the creative writers have differing opinions and argue over them enough that it negatively affects their work.
The whole article is so poorly written that panhandlers on the street are taking up a collection to send the writer to journalism school.
Its a lesbian
Geez folks
She doesn’t want to write Trump jokes because it “gives him power”.
OK, so its not just me. Is this the most poorly written article ever? I guess someone no longer wants to write Trump jokes or something? But the article begins with he and goes on using that pronoun without giving the guys name. I didnt get too far before I bailed on it.
This is a word salad if Ive ever seen one, and I guess what passes for journalism these days. Pathetic.
“Over the past few years I have landed in many jobs and situations where planning to make fun of Trump, or making information about Trump, led to split creative groups, anxiety, tears and pain.”
I don’t understand most of the writing, but one thing is clear: A LOT of people employed in the “entertainment” industry to delegitimize Trump will be out of work now - and it doesn’t even matter if by some long shot Trump is declared the eventual winner. They were hired to get rid of him, and now the voting part of the election (where they could actually influence low-IQ people) is over; they are no longer useful.
