RE the "DHS/CISA Ballot Watermarking" technology:

Ca 2001, for a client, I (as a consultant) met with the creators of a fluorescent “isotope” watermarking technology developed specifically as a potential security tool. (They were former reserchers at the Battelle Institute who retired and bought the rights to commercialize their work on “Spectrally-specific phosphors” they had been doing at Battelle.)

The phosphor pigment powders were mixtures of rare earth and isotopic materials that absorbed very narrow wavelength bands of UV light and "fluoresced" (re-emitted) light at visible wavelengths. Up to three (different-performing) phosphors were mixed in any single pigment composition.

At that time, the inventors were proposing the use of their phosphors for use in Olympic Games security (by “invisibly watermarking” tickets & attendee badges with icons visible only when illuminated by narrow-wavelength lasers). PURPOSE: Eliminate counterfeits & improve access security...

Nowadays, the “encrypted dot pattern” scheme speculated for the “DHS/ballot watermarking” proposed for ballots is ideally configured for machine reading.

IOW, the “watermarking” scheme mentioned by Piecznick(sp?) is both available and appropriate for forensic ID’ing of genuine ballots.

(BTW, the Battelle Memorial Institute lists “National Security” as one of their prime client areas. DHS/CISA could have dealt directly with Battelle on this “ballot watermarking” scheme...)

BOTTOM LINE: The concept of an invisible, digitally encoded and encrypted, machine-readable "Watermark" for ballots is 100% feasible and available.

I believe that — by working together as a “tiger team”of FReeQs — we should be able to research enough evidence to counter the “Negative Ninnies" "beyond the trees” on FR — who are running entire threads denigrating this probable key component of “The PLAN”. -- with FACTS...

what will watermarks show and how will they detect fraud other than counterfeit ballots?

Thanks for details. So such tech exists. And since it exists, very possible/likely that it was used. Exactly how I don’t know, since who or what prints up every states’ ballots I do not know.

Trump referring to the (Jeb) Bush crime family brought back some memories.
